Pension and Benefit Administrator
We have an opportunity for an experienced pension administrator with a strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to understand and apply detailed pension plan provisions. The role requires strong customer service skills, as the successful candidate will deal directly with plan members in person and over the phone. Intermediate Excel, strong math, and analytical aptitude are required.
Responsibilities
- Answer calls and respond to emails/written mail from Plan members regarding pension eligibility and provisions
- Calculate/prepare termination and retirement packages and perform follow‑up on correspondence sent
- Prepare payment authorizations for terminated and retired members
- Calculate pension entitlement on death of a member and prepare death benefit payment instructions
