Job Description
Per Diem OB/GYN Physician
Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, a regional tertiary care center and ACS-verified Level II trauma center, is actively seeking an additional board-certified/board-eligible per diem OB/GYN to join our well-established, hospital-employed practice in Bangor, Maine.
The role:
+ Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff
+ Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital.
+ Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots
+ Our group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year in Bangor.
+ 24-hour access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 f...
