The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team in one of the most linguistically and culturally diverse high achieving district in Nassau County. We seek an outstanding collaborator with experience working with students, parents and school staff.
Substitute teachers are responsible for assisting students to pursue his or her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of the regular teacher.
Major Responsibilities and Functions
+ Report to the Building Principal or School Secretary upon arrival at the school building.
+ Review with the Principal and/or Assistant Principal all plans and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
+ Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned.
