Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage the perfusion of cardiopulmonary bypass cases.
- Operate and maintain heart‑lung machines, blood analysis equipment and other accessory equipment to ensure secure conduct of surgery by the cardiovascular surgeon.
- Assist the Chief Perfusionist in supervising and training perfusionists to support surgeons in cardiovascular operations (Senior Perfusionist).
Requirements
- Recognised degree, preferably majoring in Biological Sciences.
- At least 1–2 years’ relevant experience in managing perfusions involving congenital (infant/paediatric), ischemic heart and vascular diseases.
- Service‑oriented, alert, observant and dexterous.
- Candidates without perfusion management experience may be considered if they have at least 2–3 years of other work experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
