Details Responsible for the triage of specialist outpatient (SOC) appointment requests received from various referral streams to divisions under Department of Medicine. The overall objectives are to: improve clinical care by right-siting patients to appropriate specialties improve clinical safety by triaging patients to early appointments as clinically required consolidate appointments for patients where appropriate manage overall wait times for appointments reduce no-show to appointments, especially first visit. Job Duties Reduce no show of first visit appointments by calling patients to confirm their attendance, and assist in any cancelations, rescheduling, or adhoc patient enquiry. Contribute to the development and implementation of Department plans to right-site or consolidate new (or outstanding) outpatient referrals via risk stratification on the basis of available historical clinical, biochemical and radiological information.
