This Permit Technician role serves as a key point of contact for contractors, developers, utility companies, property owners, and the public, ensuring permit applications are complete and compliant with department requirements.
The ideal Permit Technician candidate will have a construction, drafting, engineering support, or permit processing background and possess the ability to read and interpret construction plans, understand property ownership and easement information, and make sound decisions regarding permit requirements and routing.
