About the job Personal Lines Underwriter
Purpose of the role:
Provide stakeholders with effective and efficient personal lines underwriting services according to the required standards and procedures in order to retain existing clients and secure new business in support of the business strategy.
Ensure that all stakeholder communication is accurate, timeous, professional and relevant Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders Ensure and contribute to achieving own and company required client satisfaction target Adhere to company processes, service level agreements, quality assurance targets and broader regulatory frameworks wrt the following processes (but not limited to): General Enquiries such as but not limited to cover, products, processes New Business, Renewals, Endorsements and Re-broke Conduct risk assessments Analyse clients portfolios Request, obtain and assess quotes from insurers Rate policies Request, obtai...
