Involves the completion of basic administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, despatch activities and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
Under close guidance completes the following activities:
- Support and schedule loading/unloading processes for trucks and other vehicles
- Release vehicles for pick-up and delivery;
- Monitor and participate in the organization of the work environment;
- Update warehouse, pick-up and delivery reports and enter/update information in internal transport systems;
- Participate in dedicated operations and monitor the performance of specific customers;
- Execute activities related to issue pre-alerts, execute administrative activities, generate reports and collect operational data to support the update of KPIs.
