Overview
Are you experienced, enthusiastic, and team-oriented? Cortex has a seasonal full-time Pesticide Applicator position to start in May.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-application site assessments to identify target pests or weeds and assess environmental conditions
- Apply pesticides and herbicides following established safety guidelines and environmental regulations
- Calculate and mix chemical solutions based on specific requirements dependent on target species
- Keep detailed records of pesticide and herbicide applications, including quantities used and locations treated
- Drive trucks with an attached trailer
What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications)
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- First Aid Certification or willing to obtain before start date
