The Pharmacy Floor Technician prepares prescription orders for final pharmacist verification by accurately picking, labeling, scanning, and packaging medications in a high-volume fulfillment environment. This role supports daily pharmacy operations by maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulations, and upholding high standards of accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring timely completion of all assigned prescriptions.
+ Pick medications from shelving, prepack racks, and other medication storage areas according to prescription requirements and established procedures.
+ Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to verify accuracy, immediately alerting the pharmacist on duty if any medication or product does not scan properly.
