The ideal candidate will have drug sales experience and relevant disease and product knowledge. He or she also possesses strong influencing and negotiation skills honed in highly competitive markets.
Responsibilities
- Ensure monitoring systems are in place and effectively managed to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales force.
- Regularly measure success, document and provide feedback on performance to management.
- Establish effective working relationships with key local and national opinion leaders who can influence policy positions and prescribing protocols.
- Manage territory budgets for customer contacts, speaker events and other miscellaneous external expenses.
