Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications to patients as per doctor’s orders.
• Provide counseling to patients on the proper use of prescribed medications, including potential side effects.
• Verify prescription accuracy and check for drug interactions.
• Manage and maintain medication inventory and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Administer vaccinations and other health screenings (if applicable).
• Advise patients on over-the-counter medications and supplements.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and laws related to drug dispensing.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a pharmacist.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and medication therapy management.
