Job Description
This is an outpatient/retail Pharmacist position.
Position Summary: The dispensing of medications, pharmaceutical supplies, and other health care related items in accordance with the standard policies and procedures of the department. There will be considerable interaction with providers regarding therapeutic choices, drug dosage appropriateness, and compatibility of medications in multi‐drug modalities. This position will require involvement in patient education and medication reconciliation activities.
Education, License & Cert: Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. or Pharm D Degree and licensed as a Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. New York State License is desirable.
Experience: Recent experience in a high‐volume, patient‐care oriented retail/outpatient pharmacy environment is essential. Familiarity with current pharmacy software and automated dispensing equipment is preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical sc...
