Job Summary
The Pharmacist II - Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients in a hospital setting. This role primarily functions in a decentralized clinical area, working autonomously with healthcare providers and patients on assigned units. Responsibilities include independent order verification, medication dispensing, therapeutic drug monitoring, patient counseling, participation in multidisciplinary rounds, adherence to sterile compounding guidelines according to USP 797/800, and teaching activities to support the PGY1 residency program.
