Responsibilities
- Supervises daily the Pharmacy Assistant when filling up prescriptions and dispensing medicines to customers to ensure it is properly done and is error‑free.
- Educates Pharmacy Assistant on basic pharmaceutical matters like uses, contraindications, side‑effects, dosages, storage of medicines and medical supplies.
- Provides counseling to customers and patients whenever necessary.
- Makes periodic evaluation of employees in the branch to assess strict adherence to Pharmacy laws and practice.
- Check dosage and ensure that medicines are correctly and safely supplied and labeled.
- Reviewing prescriptions from doctors to ensure accuracy, ascertain the needed ingredients, and evaluate their suitability for the patient.
- Checks, reviews, and files prescriptions properly and updates Prescription Book and record all prescriptions received.
