Job Description
Our client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Pharmacist for their Grants, NM location. Responsibilities:
+ The Pharmacist is responsible for filling medication orders, monitoring patient drug therapies, and providing drug information to healthcare providers.
+ This position oversees the routine operations of the pharmacy department and manages all clinical aspects of patient drug therapy.
+ In the absence of the Pharmacy Director, the Pharmacist may be required to assume leadership responsibilities and perform the essential duties of the Director.
Medication Preparation & Dispensing
+ Prepare, fill, label, and dispense drugs, parenteral medications, IV solutions, and drug containers accurately and safely.
+ Ensure all medications issued to patient care areas meet legal and quality standards.
