South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic band 4 Pharmacy Technician. The role involves working alongside and supporting clinical pharmacists to deliver a medicines management service in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
Based at Kendray Hospital Barnsley, the position also requires dispensing competencies to be maintained at Fieldhead Hospital, Wakefield. Own transport is essential.
Applicants must hold a BTEC / NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Pharmaceutical Sciences and be registered with the GPhC.
Main duties of the job
- Managing, ordering, and maintaining stock levels.
- Undertaking medicines reconciliation on all newly admitted patients and checking patients' own drugs (PODs).
