Job Purpose
Perform technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in NUH. Assist the senior pharmacist in charge to provide supervision to pharmacy support staff and to coordinate activities within a section to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement. Dispense medicines to the patients according to department policies and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities Pharmacy Operational duties- Processing medication order
- Picking, packing and labeling of medicines in accordance to Standard Operatiing Procedures ( SOP)
- Perform the following medication reconciliation steps: counting, sorting and typing of prescription
- Perform billing function
- Deblistering of drugs from primary packaging ( IPAS and OPAS)
- Manual Unit dose repackaging
