RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, performs technical functions in the inpatient pharmacy, including but not limited to, filling routine orders, pre-packing medications, managing floor stock and preparing medications for automated dispensing.
• May be trained to compound sterile products or manage controlled medications.
• Performs duties in accordance with departmental and Medical Center policies and procedures.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Finger dexterity. Seeing. Hearing. Speaking.
B. MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:
• Infrequent: N/A
• Occasional: Lift floor to waist between 36-50 lbs. Lift waist to shoulder between 36-50 lbs. Lift waist to overhead between 11-20 lbs. Carry between 36-50 lbs. Push and Pull between 36-50 lbs.
