Overview
Law Medical is seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Technician to join its multidisciplinary primary care team. The role will support the safe, effective, and cost-efficient management of medicines within the practice, working closely with GPs, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Support medicines optimisation processes, including prescription management, medication reconciliation, and audits, while providing technical and administrative support related to medicines use.
- Play an active role in supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and contributing to the ongoing development and objectives of the practice.
- Support Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs) under the supervision of a pharmacist or GP, reconcile medicines following hospital discharges or outpatient visits, and provide patients with guidance on the safe and effective use of their medications.
