Overview
Perform technical duties under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure safe, efficient and timely distribution of drugs in AH.
Assist the pharmacist in-charge to provide supervision to pharmacy support staff and to coordinate activities within a section to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
Dispense medicines to the patients according to department policies and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities 1) Daily Operations- Provide professional and courteous service to all patients/customers
- Process medication orders/prescriptions for both inpatient and outpatient
- Picking, packing and labeling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
- Perform billing functions
- Ensures work area is ready for daily operations
- Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy and ward areas where drugs are stored
