As a Phlebotomist (Clinic Settings), you will be responsible for the following duties: - Perform blood taking procedures (venepuncture).
- Perform phlebotomy and ensure accuracy in sorting out patient’s results daily.
- Ensure that blood specimens are handled according to established standards and protocol.
- Practice proper patient identification & ensure proper recording and labelling of blood specimens for dispatch to laboratory.
- Conduct HIV screen interviews for patients.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements: - Minimum GCE 'N' Level and above.
- Phlebotomist Certificate training or certified in venepuncture.
- At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.
