**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Responsible for obtaining blood specimens from patients by a variety of techniques and performs a variety of clerical and minor technical functions. Greets and directs all outpatients to the appropriate department for testing. Performs clerical functions such as filing, answering telephones, assuring smooth departmental operations.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education:** Science courses preferred.
**Certification:** BLS required.
**Experience:** Phlebotomy skills required. Computer skills required.
