1. Properly identifies patient and selects venipuncture equipment appropriate for test, draws blood specimens.
2. Monitor patient for negative reactions, and take appropriate measures to alleviate patient anxiety.'
3. Properly label all specimens and follow laboratory procedures for requisitions.
4. Adhere to strict antiseptic techniques for patient safety.
**Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent or greater.
+ Must possess acurrent certification from an approved formal nursing assistant program orequivalent program. One year experience preferred
