Job Description
This position is a manufacturing engineering sustaining role responsible for Coherent Laser Light Engine products.
The high-level goals for this position are direct engineering support of a manufacturing line to implement cost reduction and yield improvement measures whilst maintaining high quality levels and product output to meet demand in a Continual Improvement environment.
Primary Skill Set and Responsibilities
Demonstrated hands-on technical ability and manufacturing engineering support ownership for a high-tech photonic manufacturing line that includes process and fixture development for builds with exacting diode laser beam shaping and control for free space and fiber coupled output. Proven record of successfully using robust data analysis in a high-tech manufacturing environment to drive down costs and improve FPY while upholding or improving product quality and performance.
