General Summary
Responsible to assist in the practice of physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Typically, therapy will be provided in the child's natural environment.
Primary Responsibilities
1.Exhibit a positive professional attitude with supervisors, co-workers, children, and community.
2.Maintain confidentiality of all children and employee related information.
3.Exercise sound judgment and provide appropriate care in the performance of duties.
4.Assist in delivering the treatment plan after the child has been evaluated and the treatment plan has been developed by the physical therapist and approved by the IFSP/IEP team.
5.Will track the need for reassessment, report changes in status that might warrant reassessment or referral, and may administer the reassessment under the supervision of the supervising physical therapist.
