Job Description
**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
Under the supervision of the attending physician, renders Physician Assistant services under the guidelines of the California's Physician Assistants Examining Committee under Title 16, Chapter 13.8. Supports the educational needs of Mercy Community Clinic as needed.
Core Duties:
+ Provides team-based integrated and culturally respectful patient-centered care for a panel of patients consistent with medical best practices and the policies and procedures of the organization
+ Performs patient history taking, physical examination, diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans and perform required procedures within scope of licensure, approved credentials and clinical best practice standards
+ Orders diagnostic testing based on clinical findings and clinical best practice standards; interprets results of diagnostic testing and implement and/or appropriate follow-up with the patient/family
