Locum Cardiology Physician Job in Connecticut Seeking Cardiology physicians for locum coverage near Portland, CT. Job Details:
- Coverage Date: ASAP - 4/30/2022

- Reason for Need: augment staffing for inpatient units
- Number of Positions: 2 Specialty
- Must be BC in Cardiology
- Schedule:
- 1 MD rounding in the hospital 8A-5P for 7 days a week when on call, available for calls after hours, and coming in to see a patient if needed
- 1 MD no call and rounding in hospital M-F 8A-5PM.
- Call schedule: 1 MD 7 days a week when on-call No support from Anesthesiologist, Rounding 8a-5pm
- 3-5 Coverage for ED to ED transfers for a cardiac reason, No procedures
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patient mix: Adult
- 16 Permanent Physicians with APP support for daytime hours
- Will be responsible for transfers coming from smaller community hospitals
