Summary The Chief of Primary Care is responsible for the clinical operations and administrative functions of the outpatient primary care provided at Phoenix VA Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The Chief is responsible for participation in appropriate performance improvement activities and advancing the principles of advanced clinic access, PACT, Integration of Mental Health and Primary Care. Major duties include, but not limited to: Responsible for meeting all clinical performance measures and monitors relating to the Primary Care such as: Access, PACT metrics, EPRP, SAIL, customer satisfaction, and assisting the medical center when possible in meeting all others.
