Augusta, Maine: A respected regional medical center invites an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a large, collegial team providing care across two Emergency Departments (20 minutes apart) in central Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive environment with strong specialty backup, flexible scheduling, and a balanced workload.Join a team of 35 physicians and 2 PAs delivering care across a combined annual volume of approximately 58,000 visits. You will practice in both a hospital-based Emergency Department in Augusta and a free-standing Emergency Department in nearby Waterville, offering variety in clinical setting and patient flow.Scheduling is built around 9-hour shifts and an average workweek of 32 hours, supporting a sustainable pace and strong work/life balance.
