Provide emergency medicine services to Veteran patients 13K annual volumeER does accept ambulances but has no trauma designation will see 12-18 patients on weekdays; nights 8-15 patients; weekend days 14-22 patients ED doc recommends admissions, does not write orders except Psych, holds on nights and weekends. During the week it is single coverage with a midlevel and on the weekend it is just single coverage Support staff includes : Nurses, secretary, RT, Radiology etc. Residency program with Medicine/Surgery in house 24/7, others there weekdays and by consult. They have a fast track that is staffed by a NPQUALIFICATIONS BC/BE in EM, FP, IM
