Job Description
We are seeking a Hospitalist Physician for a 15-day assignment in New York, starting Jul 9, 2026. This role involves providing nocturnist coverage from 7p-7a, handling admissions from the emergency department, managing inpatients, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and making treatment decisions within a not-for-profit community healthcare facility. Experience in an ICU setting is required for this role.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 7p - 7a nocturnist coverage.
- Admit patients from the emergency department.
- Manage inpatients.
- Perform physical exams.
- Order diagnostic tests.
- Interpret test results.
- Make treatment decisions.
- Possess required ICU experience.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine required.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system.
