Pediatric Hospitalist in NY State
In the foothills of the Catskill Mountains
80 miles to Albany
2 colleges in town
3.5 hour drive to NYC - 190 miles
- Work with and oversee 5 inpatient Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC) who cover the birthing center and inpatient pediatric service 24/7
- Monday - Friday daytime work in the hospital assisting with rounding, admissions, attendance at C-sections as needed, ED and other consultations
- Participation in overnight and weekend call rotation as back up to the inpatient APC s
- Level I Nursery with about 1000 births per year.
- 6 bed pediatric inpatient unit
- After hours call 1:6 weeknights/weekends for back up coverage of advanced practice clinicians (APCs) in the hospital.
- The pediatric inpatient service and Birthing Center are staffed by APCs 24/7/365 along with a daytime hospitalist.
