This is a hospital employed position.23-bed adult inpatient unit including 17-bed general admission and adjacent 6-bed psychiatric ICU. Although it is a locked unit, 90% are voluntary admissions. The inpatient team has been recently recognized by the State of Vermont for its exemplary work in leading the effort to reduce the incidence of seclusion and restraint. The successful candidate will be aligned philosophically with goal of minimizing all forms of coercive treatment through implementation of national best practice models.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in addiction medicine who are interested in providing outpatient services at our Medication Assisted Treatment Center.
