Job Description

Physician – Body Radiologist

Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Physician – Body Radiologist to join an established Body Imaging team in Sacramento, California.

Key Workflow Details
  • Imaging Work Mix: ~70% high-end body imaging (CT/MRI/advanced cross-sectional) and ~30% general diagnostic radiology
  • Procedural Expectations: Core fluoroscopic procedures (HSGs, enemas, cystograms, diagnostic fluoro). Davis/Auburn coverage includes paracentesis, thoracentesis, and select biopsies
  • Call Structure: Minimal phone/pager call (~once per month or less), no onsite requirements
  • Daily Volume: ~45 RVUs/day with optional Flex Shifts for additional income (voluntary, evenings/weekends available)
  • Coverage Model: Primarily SMCS or SRMC; location varies by clinician residence
  • Remote Reading: 1–2 remote shifts/week; all STAT shifts are remote
  • Workflow & Tools: Visage PACS, EPIC EMR, Barco monitors, home ...
