Geisinger is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Trauma Surgeon to join our nationally recognized team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center serving northeastern Pennsylvania. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-acuity, high-volume trauma program supporting a growing regional population, delivering comprehensive trauma and surgical critical care in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Job Duties
Practice Highlights
+ Level I Trauma Center with consistent year-over-year growth in trauma volume
+ Full-spectrum trauma care including:
+ D edicated OR time and access to robotic assisted surgery
+ Trauma alerts, consults, and discharges
+ Coverage of trauma medical-surgical floors
+ Integrated Emergency General Surgery (EGS) model
+ Weekday coverage (Monday–Friday) with shared weekend responsibilities
+ 24/7 trauma coverage model with strong multi...
