Job Summary
A casual physiotherapist provides clinical physiotherapy treatment, plans and monitors therapy for patients/residents, delegates treatment to assistants/aides, educates patients and staff on body mechanics, maintains records, participates in service development and interdisciplinary professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provides clinical physiotherapy treatment, including assessment, problem identification, goal setting, treatment and re‑evaluation of patients/residents and community patients.
- Delegates components of treatment to assistants/aides and provides input for performance evaluation of the assistants/aides.
- Promotes awareness of good body mechanics to facility staff, patients/residents and families by modeling, presenting and answering questions related to physiotherapy. <...
