The Role
As a Physiotherapy Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will work under the guidance of the Physiotherapist to ensure residents achieve their best physical condition. You will provide individualized physiotherapy in line with current evidence‑based practice and company policies. You will also handle basic administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and support efficient service delivery.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized physiotherapy sessions to residents.
- Assist residents in improving mobility and physical function.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy progress.
- Support the Physiotherapist in daily patient care activities.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to obtain.
