Job Description

The Role

The role of a Physiotherapist Assistant in aged care is to build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible providing mobility and exercise programs and perform delegated resident treatment plans, under the direction and supervision of the Physiotherapist and in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and framework of Amana Living. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Amana Living’s award winning model of care and be committed to making a real difference to residents' quality of life.


This role is offered on a casual basis from our SOR Sites 

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise therapeutic activities under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist, Manager and or Registered Nurse.

  • Prepares and conducts resident activities correctly and safely

  • Maintain records, statistics and progress notes as required by the Physiotherapist.
