Job Description:
- Maintain and repair pig farm equipment and machinery, including ventilation systems, feeding and water systems, and other related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and avoid production disruptions.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary repairs.
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required to repair or modify equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including documenting completed tasks and maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with farm management to identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality and propose solutions.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
