Job Description
Amentum is seeking a Pipefitter/Plumber to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Pipefitter/Plumber will duties associated with maintaining pipe/steam systems, to include install, repair, maintain, and replace water/steam lines, valves, radiators, heaters, storage and condensate tanks, steam traps, control valves, fittings, expansion joints and steam pressure systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Typical Responsibilities:
Plan piping/tubing system layouts, installations or repairs according to specifications. Modify, clean, and maintain pipe/steam systems, units, fittings and related machines and equipment, following specifications using hand and power tools.
