What the role is:
Placemaking efforts in Singapore have gained momentum over the last few decades, evolving from the coordination of placemaking efforts at Marina Bay in the early 2000s, to a more sustainable stakeholder-led placemaking model that exists in multiple districts today. As part of URA’s Conservation and Urban Design Group, the Place Management Department (PMD) engages stakeholders from different backgrounds and inspire them to work together to create vibrant places and precincts. With a wide spectrum of roles and functions from formulating place-making strategies and plans, project and event management to solving practical on-ground issues, we believe in how collective action and co-creation can lead to economic benefits and social transformation for a place, precinct and city.This internship will be under CUDG.What you will be working on:
