Job Description
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: (amongst other duties)
- Ensuring there are enough RAW Materials and Secondary packaging to fulfil orders and reorder levels are maintained
- Issue daily schedules for Raw Material requirements
- Monitoring of slow-moving stocks
- Liaise with Sales personnel to dispose of or resell or maintain reorder levels
- Service the branches in terms of product required etc.
- Calculating daily and weekly stock figures, exceptions etc
- Co-coordinating plans for external transport
- Advising Production and Planners of any exceptions that may be necessary for new product
- Liaising with Stores & Distribution regarding new packaging
- Long-term planning of stock levels and buffers
- Assisting with the utilization budget process
- Optimizing stock rotation, ordering and cash flow management
