Planning Manager – PLC Housebuilder (North West)

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead the planning strategy across a portfolio of residential developments. You’ll drive sites through the planning system, manage consultants, and maximise land value in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning strategy for new and existing sites
- Manage planning applications, appeals, and negotiations with local authorities
- Coordinate external consultants and internal stakeholders
- Monitor local plans and identify opportunities/risks
- Support land acquisition with planning appraisals and due diligence
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential planning (housebuilder or consultancy)
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
