Overview:
System One is seeking a highly capable and motivated Plant Integrated Analysis Engineer to support advanced nuclear reactor development within a sodium-cooled reactor program. This role focuses on plant-level thermal-hydraulic and control system analysis, supporting design, safety, and operational performance.
This is a highly technical role working cross-functionally with safety, I&C, and design engineering teams to model, analyze, and validate complex plant systems.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop RELAP5-3D models for steady-state and transient one-dimensional hydraulic network analyses
+ Perform plant-level thermal-hydraulic analysis for normal operations, upset conditions, and emergency scenarios
+ Develop and evaluate plant control strategies and component-level controllers
+ Perform first-principles calculations (heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics) to support analysis results
