Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Plant Machine Operator - Manufacturing to support production by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment. The role focuses on keeping machines running efficiently, producing quality output, and reducing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up production machines in line with standard operating procedures
- Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent product quality and output
- Perform basic maintenance and assist with repairs to prevent breakdowns
- Identify faults and resolve issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Maintain production records, logs, and job cards
- Ensure all safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards are followed
- Support cost control by reducing waste and reporting any issues
