Job Description
Requirements
- Trade Test or Technical Qualification in a maintenance-related field (NQF 5 or equivalent)
- Certificate in Supervisory or First Line Management will be beneficial
- Approximately 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- At least 1–2 years experience in a supervisory capacity
- Experience working shifts will be advantageous
- Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, processes, and safety legislation
- Computer literacy (MS Office and maintenance/ERP systems such as SAP preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and supervise maintenance teams and artisans
