Responsibilities
The Plant Manager ensures the manufacture, warehousing, and delivery of product within established quality guidelines, customer expectations and regulatory requirements. This position actively leads and supports our safety program, lean initiatives and other strategic goals and has P&L responsibilities, including the development of the annual budget and capital expenditures plans for the location. This mill is a complete line equine feed mill with three staggered shifts.
Requirements
The qualified applicant will possess a college degree or equivalent experience, have 2 or more years of progressive experience in managing a feed mill, be skilled in motivating staff through good communication and leadership skills, have solid computer skills, and experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment. The desired candidate must be able to communicate effectively with a large dealer base, sales managers, and sales staff.
