The Plant Mechanic maintains, repairs, and rebuilds production machinery, tools, and equipment to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with precision tool and die activities, supporting both ongoing production and new product testing in an industrial environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Rebuild threaders and associated tooling to maintain optimal performance and extend equipment life.
+ Move, position, and install machinery and equipment safely and efficiently within the plant.
+ Assemble and repair new and used production tools and dies to support manufacturing operations.
+ Fabricate new parts in the workshop using machining equipment and tools as required.
