Operates and monitors auxiliary equipment and systems which support the safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound production of electricity and steam.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly operate, inspect, and monitor in a safe, efficient, reliable, and environmentally sound manner power plant equipment including: Gas Turbine/ Generator and its associated auxiliary equipment
Feedwater / Condensate Systems
Fuel Systems
Boiler Equipment
Water Treatment System Observe variations in operating conditions and interprets meter and gauge readings to troubleshoot plant equipment to resolve operational problems.Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public.Take samples and perform routine laboratory test and analysis.Understand and execute the equipment clearanc...
